Materials/Techniques: I drew on white cloth and colored the quilt with Inktense pencils and NeoColor II crayons and water. I love to free motion quilt and it is thread signed.

Artist Statement: As I have said before, I took 77 pictures at the Marriott in Palm Desert. They were all of flamingoes. They are so interesting and they were very active that day. I have been there when they just stood on one leg and slept. The light was right for all the shadows of the palms to really show up.
