Materials/Techniques: The hearts and bluebird are wool fabric that is hand appliquéd onto a light cream flannel background. I machine quilted around each figure echoing their shape. I created two wave lines across the quilt to represent song.

Artist Statement: When my quilt guild suggested we all make a donation, I wanted to participate. My father taught me about birds so when I saw a bluebird today, I designed this quilt.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
