Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric and batting, hand needle turn appliqué and hand quilting which is big stitch quilting with perle cotton thread.

Artist Statement: I was inspired by the revival of the late 1800's tile quilts so I challenged myself to use only pieces from my scrap bag. I see a heart but when looking this block from a certain side I can also see a tree.
