Materials/Techniques: Drawn on white fabric and painted with neo color II crayons and water. Heavily free motion quilted and thread signed.

Artist Statement: My attempt was to show the strawberry from bloom to ripened fruit. Strawberries are a great northwest crop. When I was young I picked them every year to earn money to buy school clothes.

Dedication: I dedicate these quilts to all caregivers, to my mother who had Alzheimer's and to my two friends Barbara and Ele' who are great caregivers.
