Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, fused appliqué and branches painted and snow covered using Tsukineko ink create this winter scene.
Artist Statement: This gathering of beautiful birds takes place in the winter when the male Cardinal really stands out in the landscape.
Dedication: Dedicated to Ami Simms who has included quilters into a gathering to fund research for Alzheimer's disease. Her dedication, hard work and encouragement makes earning money for this cause a lot of fun.
