Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, rayon thread, cotton floss, and rayon floss. This was an orphan block that I experimented with to embellish with machine embroidery, hand embroidery, raw edge appliqué and couching.

Artist Statement: After watching several online programs that showed embellishing techniques, I was eager to try them so that I would not forget how to do them. I enjoyed all the techniques and plan to use them on future quilts.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
