Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric and Tsukineko ink were used to create this early spring scene. It is machine appliquéd and quilted, piped, signed and traditionally bound.
Artist Statement: Brrrrrrr. The tulips are caught in a spring snowstorm. Snow is collecting on the wet muddy ground at their feet. How could it be spring and the snow is still coming?
Dedication: Dedicated to my friend Crystal's mother, Jane Kimiko Izumi, who fought the Alzheimer's battle.
