Materials/Techniques: Hand dyed wool by professionals and some by me on recycled, felted garments; button hole stitched by hand with black wool-silk blend floss onto black wool; back is a homespun plaid cotton quilt fabric. Golden-red dog hair contributed with love by Sweet Bailey Brown.

Artist Statement: I've been learning to dye wool with Cushing’s Acid Dyes and a folk art recipe book. I thought this classic pattern would make a primitive table quilt for the Alzheimer's "Folk Art" Quilt project.
