Materials/Techniques: I used a black, white, hot pink, and lime green on Eiffel Tower novelty print cotton quilt fabric and batting; background is a wonky 9-patch cut into fourths and reassembled off center; petals and stems are hand needle turn appliqué but leaves are fused; with pink prairie points and echo quilted by hand.

Artist Statement: I made this quilt to raise funds for Alzheimer’s research, to show my support for the AAQI and to help fulfill my $1000 Promise pledge.
