Width: 11.75" Length: 8.75"
Materials/Techniques: Hand dyed cotton and cotton batting, O rings, beads and other embellishments.
Artist Statement: In September we drove through Indiana and Michigan. We passed many farms that had fields of dead corn because of the hot dry weather of the summer. Very often there would be either a stand or a wagon at the end of the road containing some produce along with a box or jar for money. As with Alzheimer’s, memories disappear but sometimes there is a glimpse of what had been.
