Marty Currie
White Bear Lake, MN USA
Width: 8.5" Length: 8.5"
Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric and batting.
Artist Statement: This is a series of disappearing 9-patch blocks that represent the progression of Alzheimer's disease. A large 9-patch is cut, rearranged and re-sewn. In Disappearing 2, the colors are still there and the quilting visible, but there is less distinction, as a person's world shrinks.
Dedication: I love you Grandma Currie, Grandpa and Grandma Neff, Aunt Rene and Uncle Robert.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
