Materials/Techniques: I drew the picture and then cut pieces for the applique. I didn't number them because I didn't think there were that many pieces. Boy, was that a mistake. From now on number them! I free motion quilted and thread signed the quilt.

Artist Statement: The fruit is plentiful in the Northwest. These dark cherries are my favorites. I eat a lot of them in season. More than I should. They are so good.
