Materials/Techniques: I drew the picture and then cut out pieces for the applique. I didn't think I needed to number them, there aren't that many. Wrong. Don't do that again. NUMBER THEM. I did free motion quilting. I put beads on the berries and thread signed it.

Artist Statement: In the Northwest we are very proud of our strawberries. I tried to show the flowers, the green berries and the ripened ones. I picked berries as a child for several summers for school clothes.
