Materials/Techniques: Drawn on PFD cloth, then colored with Inktense pencils that someone gave me as a gift. I love them. It is free motion quilted and has loose raw edged leaves. The free motion in the veins holds them on. He has beads in his eyes.

Artist Statement: One night I heard something and saw a shadow. I flipped the deck light on and there was a red fox. We were both startled. It was an instant - a wonderful exciting instant - and then he turned and jumped off the deck and was gone. I know I was much happier to see him than he was to see me.
