Materials/Techniques: This original collage quilt was done with raw edge appliqué and machine quilting. All of the vegetables and fruit are shaded with thread painting. The fabrics and batting are all cotton. There are numerous thread types used, including cotton, rayon and poly sheen. The radishes are my favorite, followed closely by the truck load of carrots.

Artist Statement: This quilt was made is in memory of the many Farmers' Market trips I made with my dear friend Toni. She passed away from Alzheimer's disease in 2006.
