Materials/Techniques: I did the painted crow using PFD cloth and NeoColor II crayons and water. I then cut a pattern from it to appliqué another crow quilt. I free motion quilted because I love to do it. It is thread signed.

Artist Statement: There is something about these black birds, crows or ravens that has mystery. I am really interested in them. I saw a documentary on Public TV about crows. They are very smart. They use tools and can figure many things out.
