Materials/Techniques: The large reddish/brown cat's whiskers are blowing in the wind. The fish kites tied to its ears soar in a blue sky. The quilting in the sky swirls with the wind. Trees in the background sway. A striped multicolor binding adds a happy note.

Artist Statement: The wind is a constant where I live - this cat with kites attached to its ears exemplifies the spring season.
