Artist Statement: When I was a child, my parents talked about what they were going to do when they reached their "golden years." I have reached the right age, but I am not sure why they are called golden. I created this quilt as a reflection on how I feel about reaching this age. It is more like a golden pond. All that I have been and done in my life has created ripples that are now coming back to me and helping me find my way through these autumnal days. I am blessed that I have my health and can make sense of these ripples on my golden pond.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
