Materials/Techniques: The quilt is made entirely from cotton fabrics, with Warm & Natural batting and decorative quilting done using metallic threads from Superior Threads. I drafted the Mariner's Compass myself, using Judy Mathieson's instructions.

Artist Statement: I decided to make this quilt after seeing the wonderful AAQI quilts for sale at Houston IQF. I have been very fortunate - no one in my family has Alzheimer’s - but I know that many others are less fortunate.
