Artist Statement: Oh, winter has arrived for our 3 bluebirds. This is the 4th and final quilt in my "Four Seasons Series", following spring, summer and autumn quilts. As you can see, bluebirds are still flitting about all the while trying to avoid speedy rabbit and cat on their downhill sledding adventure. It has just started snowing again...big fluffy snowflakes! Soon they'll fill the old bird's nest and all creatures will once again seek cover. This is my 36th AAQI quilt and my November Quilt-A-Month donation.
