Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric background, interfacing, flannel batting, paint pens. Cotton /poly and invisible thread were used with rough edge appliqué and machine quilting.

Artist Statement: I wanted to make a Priority quilt for Christmas, but not with the traditional images. So using the traditional red and green colors and searching through my stash of fabric this is what I came up with. What could be more Christmassy than cardinals, holly and a star all done in red, white and green?
