Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric background, interfacing, flannel batting, paint pens, painted canvas pieces. Cotton /poly and invisible thread were used with rough edge appliqué and machine quilting.

Artist Statement: I bought a still life painting , oil or acrylic on canvas. When I got it home I found that it had a rip in middle of the picture, so I cut it apart and used the pieces in the quilt that reminds me of grandmother's kitchen.
