Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric background, interfacing, flannel batting, paint pens . The figures are drawn and painted on a very thin interfacing. Cotton /poly and invisible thread used with rough edge appliqué and machine quilting and embellished with silver stitches.

Artist Statement: I made this quilt to remind everyone that Alzheimer's affects other countries not just America. I chose three Asian elders to carry that message. Because of China's one child policy caring for the elders is a huge problem. We need to keep those researchers funded .
