Materials/Techniques: I used assorted cotton fabrics for the Log cabin blocks and a shiny metallic for the symbol.

Artist Statement: I was asked why I am doing this. My answer, "Because I can." I am not a philanthropist or a scientist. Quilts I can do! AAQI has given me the chance to help. This quilt is my interpretation of the Chinese symbol for hope.
