Materials/Techniques: The red fabric is a metallic polyester with small metal like discs to give him maximum shine. The face was done with cotton and rayon thread, the quilting was done with metallic thread.

Artist Statement: I was asked why I am doing this. My answer, "Because I can." I am not a philanthropist or a scientist. Quilts I can do! AAQI has given me the chance to help. I found this face at a garage sale and thought that it needed to become a quilt.
