Materials/Techniques: I used a variety of cotton for the Log Cabin blocks and rayon for the symbol.

Artist Statement: I was asked why I am doing this. My answer, "Because I can." I am not a philanthropist or a scientist. Quilts I can do! AAQI has given me the chance to help. This quilt is my interpretation of the Chinese symbol for destiny.
