Artist Statement: This quilt signifies that a long married life is filled with a "patchwork" of highs and lows. Our marriage is filled with many, many highs and we are blessed with three wonderful daughters, three fantastic sons-in-law and seven terrific grandchildren. Unfortunately we are now experiencing the "low" in our life as my husband is suffering with Alzheimer's and is a resident in the Masonic Village Health Care Center.
