Materials/Techniques: The design is drawn on white PFD cloth. I used NeoColor II crayons and water and some oil pastels. The leaves are appliquéd, I did some thread painting and free motion quilting. It is thread signed.

Artist Statement: In Momma's greenhouse she grew orchids. They need special soil and food. Mother had another ingredient; she talked to all of her plants. They grew well and the whole family learned many lessons in Momma's greenhouse.
