Artist Statement: I made this mug rug in celebration of my friend Susan McConnell's 50th birthday. Susan has been a very dedicated contributor to AAQI, with her quilts raising more than $1000 for Alzheimer's research. I know that she would be very pleased that a gift I made in her honor is being contributed to this important cause.
