Materials/Techniques: This lovely tulip was foundation pieced using a pattern displayed on www.thimble-art.com. Cotton quilting fabrics and 80/20 batting were used in this quilt. The tulip and inner border were stitched in the ditch to give maximum 3-D effect to the tulip.

Artist Statement: This quilt was made as part of a challenge to the Hospitality Chapter of the Richmond Quilt Guild. Several friends have lost loved ones to Alzheimer's and I wanted to do something to help further research possibilities.
