Materials/Techniques: Machine pieced and quilted, the portrait and floral designs are free-motion quilted and color added with fabric markers. Sparkle gems are glued on and the necklace is fused appliqué.

Artist Statement: Buddhist teachings and meditative practices inspire me. A Bodhisattva is a compassionate soul seeking perfect enlightenment for him/herself and all beings. I am always trying to be that compassionate. The design is inspired by ancient Buddhist art from Mongolia.
