Materials/Techniques: The butterfly embroidery is Zundt Design Number 201082 from Butterfly 1. The embroidery thread brand is Superior Threads, the flowers are sequins and the quilting is free hand stars.

Artist Statement: The purpose of this quilt is to assist Alzheimer’s patients and their caretakers with memories and imagination. The quilt is a story-telling quilt. When quests visit and see the quilt, subjects that come to mind may be flying, travel, butterflies or flowers. Guests may be thankful for re-living and telling stories. The funds from this quilt, which will be used for Alzheimer research, will assist in brighter futures for all of us.

Dedication: To Alzheimer patients and visitors, as a method to relate and bring some happiness.
