Materials/Techniques: I kept thinking I would like to use some great yarn from sheep in this area. So I started. I couched the yarn after doing some thread painting, then I used NeoColor II crayons and finished it with free motion swirls.

Artist Statement: My nephew's beloved dog is Millie. The whole family loves her. I took a good photo of her and then decided to try to draw her from real life and the photo.
