Materials/Techniques: The seven fabrics on the face and back of this quilt are 100% cotton. The batting is 80% cotton, 20% poly. This little quilt was machine pieced and machine quilted, on my 60-year-old Singer 15-91 machine.

Artist Statement: I love to challenge myself, on this small scale. I have done very little with 'half square triangles' and have never set them on point, so that's what I decided to do here. As I am very inspired by the modern quilting way of looking at things, I decided to quilt this by machine with many rows of stitches in a non-traditional pattern.
