Materials/Techniques: I used vintage Japanese hand woven Kasuri, vintage crochet, vintage buttons from Germany and cotton fabric and beads.

Artist Statement: I've been looking for a project to use a little of my stash of hand woven Kasuri and the blue lantern seemed like the perfect companion piece.

Dedication: In memory of Tante Rosie, blue skies, sunshine and a gentle breeze.
