Davidsonville, MD   USA

Width: 9"   Length: 11.5"

Materials/Techniques: Layered background, fused figures, thread, sequin and fabric snip embellishments under netting, machine quilted.

Artist's Statement: This little quilt gets its name from a line in a favorite song of mine by lee Ann Womack “…and when you get the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance.” You’ll be happier if you get involved in life, so dance and stick your hand up when any group you belong to is asking for volunteers.

Dedication: To all those who always volunteer and end up doing far more than their share.

This quilt is displayed with Fast Finish Triangles.

This quilt earned $68 for Alzheimer's research.
