Materials/Techniques: I used cotton tapestry type fabric, faux fur, invisible and cotton/poly threads and a cotton backing fabric. Paint pens enhance the colors. The cow is rough cut appliquéd and quilted around to make the image stand out more. The border fabric is a deep red velvet type material.

Artist Statement: I accidentally dropped a scrap of fur type fabric onto a woven golfing scene. I don't know if the cow is giving advice on golfing or just waiting to finish eating when the golfers move on to the next hole. It’s just a whimsical scene to spark the imagination.
