Materials/Techniques: Cotton backing and binding, white felt in the middle with the face drawn with paint pens with a pale gray embroidered sheer fabric on top. The original swirly embroidered lines are enhanced with fancy machine stitches done in silver and pink threads. It was quilted using invisible thread on top and white in the bobbin and using the swirly lines as a guide.

Artist Statement: This sheer embroidered fabric made me think of a bridal veil so I drew a simple head on white felt and placed the sheer over it. I call it the Shy Bride.
