Materials/Techniques: Leaves and shadow were cut together, offset and fused onto background fabric creating a 3-D illusion. It was then machine quilted and finished with a piped binding.

Artist Statement: The marbled fabric is from the stash of a fellow quilter while the leaves were inspired by another friend who loved ginkgo leaves. I enjoyed working on this piece because it reminded me of my dear friends and fellow artists and the great times we spent together.

Dedication: This quilt is dedicated in memory of two fellow artists; Jeri Klemz from whose stash the materials came from and Sandy Devine who loved the simple lines of a ginkgo leaf.

This quilt has a Hanging Ring.
