Materials/Techniques: 1" Thangles, machine pieced and quilted. I used half-square triangles arranged in an hourglass block.

Artist Statement: As I was arranging the blocks for this quilt, I realized that to dedicate it to Mom it needed a little red in it. This brought to mind the gorgeous picture we found of her in a red bathing suit with an hourglass figure.
