Materials/Techniques: Paper pieced pinwheel blocks make a quilt for Doll Face, a hand-made rag doll dressed in her flannel nightie for bed.
(The doll is removeable!)
Artist's Statement: My grandma was a quilt maker and I’m sure she would be amazed at the idea of making a quilt to hang on the wall. Her purpose for making quilts was for warmth. The majority of my quilts are also intended for warmth, and in that spirit, I created a quilt to keep a little doll warm.
