Materials/Techniques: Except the backing all fabrics are colorful batiks, including the black background. The colored pieces are 1/4 inch and it is stitched in the ditch with clear thread.

Artist Statement: I wanted to make something eye-catching, and while the quilt did satisfy me, the name of it eluded me. Often I have a working name right from the beginning, but not this time. I decided to think deeply about it, or in other words to contemplate.
