Materials/Techniques: Hoffman Radiance fabrics used on the front, the back is a purple batik. I used bamboo batting and then free motion quilted with Superior Highlights thread.

Artist Statement: This quilt was sewn because my grandmother, Hazel, loved shiny fabrics and the color purple. She had Alzheimer's as did her mother and does her daughter.
