Laura Keyes Perry
Roanoke, VA USA
Width: 12" Length: 8.75"
Materials/Techniques: Cotton and cotton blends, many contributed by readers of "Good Old Days" magazine who wanted to help fight Alzheimer's -- Kathryn Laroche, Wilma Ranney, Beuna Inman, Elizabeth Minnis, Carol Lotta and the War & Peace Quilters.
Artist Statement: Making yo-yo quilts was very popular in the 1930’s and it is still fun to make them. I like to see how different circles of fabric look when gathered into yo-yos. The three-dimensional effect is attractive too.
Dedication: In memory of Wayne A. Lonkosky.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
This quilt earned $46.19 for the AAQI.
