Artist Statement: This quilt was made for a small group challenge using the fabric with the circles as the challenge. My Dad is in a facility suffering from Alzheimer’s, the institutional floor is representative of where he lives. I have had it here for 2 years not wanting to send it in, it seems so cold when I look at it, too brutally honest, but if it can raise even a little money, I will be happy.
