Artist Statement: Both my mother and my husband's mother have now passed from forms of dementia related to Alzheimer’s. We have a small collection of Alzheimer's quilts given to us in place of flowers for both these special women. I have made one for my mom themed with her favorite sea shells. This one is for Betty, whose heart was always busy loving us.
