Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics, batiks, machine embroidery and appliqué.

Artist Statement: I made this in memory of my mother, Myrna Branch Roeske. She dearly loved sea shells and collected and crafted with them for many years. The appliqué in the lower corner is one I machine embroidered for a sweat shirt cardigan, her last mother's day gift from me. I have made a matching quilt for myself which hangs with my collection of Alzheimer’s quilts.
