Artist Statement: Inspired by the phases of the moon, I stitched this quilt using gradated values of night sky. The first three and last three words of this Sara Teasdale poem seemed fitting for the quilt. The poem is printed on the back.
Moon, worn thin to the width of a quill,
In the dawn clouds flying,
How good to go, light into light,and still
Giving light, dying.
