Materials/Techniques: Yellow cotton fabrics chosen and machine pieced by Joan Korte, then split up into thirds, re-arranged and machine pieced by me. It is hand quilted with the backing making a wrap-around self-binding.

Artist Statement: This is made from lots of spare reels made by Joan Korte from an exchange at TQS.com. I thought that they might make an interesting herringbone pattern, which after some playing they did. Then I had some fun hand quilting a traditional North Country (UK) design in the center and the corners.
