Artist Statement: This vintage log cabin orphan block reminded me of a party dress I had as a little girl. Then I started thinking about all of the great little girl parties I attended and the brightly wrapped gifts. All of a sudden Hopscotch Party was created. Remember, hopscotch was the game of the day, back in the day. It’s just a fun quilt full of memories.
